Recently, I’ve had to stop eating certain things because they wre causing stomach upsets. They had been for years, and I had tried figuring out what was causing it, but it turned out it was a huge combination of foods, weird ones too. So out the door went my favourite foods: spinach, fish, bananas, tomatoes, soya milk… The list goes on. But finally, comes the tough one – I have to give up beer.
There’s only so much of one’s life you can spend on the toilet before it becomes boring, after all. And I have marathons to run, dammit.

Not good. Not good at all. Still, there’s always wine.
No good. Too acidic.
Looks like I’m running the London Marathon next year, and I’ve got an offer to go and do the Loch Ness one too, in Autumn. Quite fancy doing both, and I’m not sure I can with alcohol beside me… Takes too much out of me!
I am intending to run a stage of the marathon next year……man will I be a smug fucker after that……beer is easy to give up, lets be honest it tastes awful
